Our Guiding Forces

Christine Kleha
Christine is a partner with esd & associates. A graduate of Texas State University—San Marcos, she honed her marketing and analytical skills earning a health profession degree (BSW). She launched her writing career as a Program Coordinator and Grant Writer for the Children’s Shelter of San Antonio. Her persuasive writing skills, backed with her research techniques, garnered numerous grant award recognitions for non-profit organizations. She went on to apply her skills at the Texas Department of Health and Human Services and then partnered her skills with the esd & associates team.

Under her direction, esd & associates has achieved Bronze Quill, Point of Purchase Advertising Industry, PRSA and ADDY awards for a variety of marketing campaigns. Christine has an unparalleled devotion for her client-partners, which include University Health System, Texas State University—San Marcos, Kinetic Concepts Incorporated and a variety of health care institutions and non-profit organizations.

Erik Simpson
Erik Simpson, a native of San Antonio, graduated from Southern Oregon University with a degree in Communications by the age of 20 and quickly began his career in the world of advertising and marketing. His creative excellence, along with his knack for devising cost-effective client solutions, quickly elevated him within the industry. His Gold Bronze Quill awards, Point of Purchase Advertising Industry Gold Medal awards, Addys and most importantly, his drive for promoting his clients, allowed Erik to form his own advertising coalition. Today he manages advertising and interactive campaigns for many large corporations such as SeaWorld, Community First Health Plans, The Gambrinus Company, Texas Diabetes Institute, Texas A&M University and public service campaigns such as the “i don’t” tobacco prevention campaign and “Talk It Up” youth depression campaign, among others. In addition to working hand in hand with clients, he is actively involved in the creative and technical development of all interactive marketing, print and TV and radio campaigns. He has extensive background and training in the field of advertising design and his ability to provide clients with national-level advertising is uncompromising.
