Social Media/Internet Marketing Specialist


Engage in promoting or creating buzz by individuals, groups or organizations for client-partners and agency through social media strategy, application and internet marketing. Develop written social media marketing plans, programs for corporate implementation, and execute social media concepts. Create content for various mediums to help facilitate client campaign messaging.


Social Media Tasks:

  • Develop strong social media strategies for outreach and engagement (write and facilitate)
  • Actively participate in social media activities (i.e. client blog, personal blog, social bookmarking, commenting)
  • Create content for various mediums to help facilitate client campaign messaging
  • Utilize PR and creative/programming team to execute unique social media concepts
  • Develop skills in InDesign for creative and various web programs to expand ability to execute most social media concepts
  • Leverage social media activities
  • Introduce a new social media tool, trend or application for company review once a week
  • Leverage your own social media networks/blog for company and client-partner growth while still assuring viral and open nature of posts and communication
  • Research and create internet marketing using both viral and paid components to drive traffic to social media outlets/website/twitter etc
  • Measure social media strategies & internet marketing and provide monthly reports on successes

SEO/SEM Tasks:

  • Understand google analytics
  • Develop key word portfolio for SEO/SEM clients
  • Review copy to assure key word execution is on target
  • Optimize keyword portfolio by testing ad copy, landing pages and bidding strategies
  • Write ad copy for Search Engine Marketing for google ad word campaigns
  • Purchase media after approval by creative director
  • Track, report and analyze PPC initiatives and campaigns
  • Other tasks as requested but not identified above


  • Bachelor Degree in Communications/PR/English
