Families from across San Antonio will join City Councilman Ray Lopez for the District 6 Fitness 5K run/walk, the third Big Event of the 4th Annual San Antonio Sports Fit Family Challenge, this Saturday, June 29, from 8 to 10 a.m.
The first 1,000 participants to cross the finish line will receive a medal. Participants will include San Antonians with inspiring stories about how Fit Family Challenge has helped them embrace healthy lifestyles through exercise and healthy eating. Activities for the entire family include a fitness fair with human hamster ball races, laser tag, Zumba instruction and children’s games.
